Studios of Love
Dearest J,
I found a really cool excerpt from this book I’m reading called “Faith After Doubt” by Brian McClaren.
It goes like this:
The idea that there should be:
faith communities
belief factories
schools of moral intelligence
studios of love
new generation of spiritual entrepreneurs created new kinds of spaces, communities and institutions to fill the void
religious join nonreligious
not simply to become happy consumers in the suicidal economy
see beyond self-interest, attachments to organizations and countries and our species
art systematically helping people achieve the most advanced forms of moral developments possible
